I recently finished writing The Heart of Poseidon, and to be honest, I’m still a little worn out from living in that story and writing through the perspectives of characters I truly love. I’ve tried to dive into the next book, but so far my writing hasn’t felt like it’s doing the story justice. For now, I think it’s best to let it simmer for a while.
That said, I fully intend to return to it soon.
In the meantime, I’ve been researching a project that takes me down a slightly different path—a techno-thriller without the science fiction elements. It’s an idea I find both chilling and theoretically possible, and I believe it could be something really special if I execute it well.
I’m excited about this new series, but rest assured, I have no plans to abandon the world of The Heart. My goal is to bring you stories filled with the same excitement, action, intrigue, and terror that made the first book such a ride.
