		<description>ssands: If you didn&#039;t do the system update before applying the video fix, you will get the kinds of errors you are describing. This happened to me and what I ended up doing is removing the Ubuntu partitions and reinstalling from scratch again. BE SURE NOT TO REMOVE THE WINDOWS PARTITIONS. 

I am sure there are Ubuntu experts out there who can tell you how to fix the video issue. Search the Ubuntu forums for a solution. I wish I could give you a &quot;magic fix&quot; but all I can say is good luck.

		<description>Bought an Aspire A0751 and did Ubuntu 9.04 install.  Did video update and guess I blew it as am getting no desktop and lots of install problems.  How do I uninstall the change to get it back or do I re-confirm the edits and initiate the commands again?  Thanks.  I am sooooo looking forward to the install working.</description>
